Take the screenshot and open the preview
Use the side and volume-up buttons on Face ID models, or the appropriate side and Home buttons on supported Touch ID models. Tap the screenshot preview, then choose Full Page when that option is available.
Review and crop the complete page
Use the page preview to move through the capture and crop away navigation or unrelated sections. Apple documents the current Full Page controls in its iPhone screenshot guide.
Choose an image or PDF based on the use
An image works well for visual reference in Photos. A PDF is often better for long documents, sharing, annotation, and filing in Files. Preserve the source URL or document title so the capture does not lose attribution and context.
Keep long captures out of the general pile
Name PDFs clearly in Files. For full-page images saved to Photos, Tagshot can make recognized screenshot text searchable on device, but extremely long or complex layouts may be easier to manage as documents.
Common questions
Why do I not see Full Page?
The option appears only in supported content and apps. Try Safari or another compatible view, and confirm that the page extends beyond the visible screen.
Can a full-page screenshot be saved to Photos?
Current iOS versions may offer image or PDF choices depending on the content. Follow the save options shown in the screenshot editor.
Does a full-page screenshot capture private fields?
It captures the rendered page area supported by the feature. Review the complete result before sharing because information outside the first screen may be included.
